The 26th round of Medieval Feasts
in 2007
takes our traditional audience participation to an
entirely new level! Artistic Director Daniel Hathaway
invites you to help choose the best of the last 25 years of
Feasts and roll the results into a grand medieval melange.
As always, our feasts take place in the 15th century gothic
splendor of Trinity Cathedral, where you'll enjoy a night
replete with period food, drink, music and entertainment.
Each evening begins at seven o'clock with a mulled cider
and wine reception in the Great Hall, followed by a procession
into the cathedral nave for a multi-course banquet of
hearty medieval fare eaten with the fingers with bread trenchers
for plates. Wine, ale and fruit juice accompany the
food, and interactive entertainment will delight you between
courses.
The evening ends with the curious ceremony of the Pig's
Head. Our beautiful gothic venue provides a perfect setting
for group photos afterwards. (You'll want to come in costume
for those photo ops; we'll give you suggestions with your
confirmation!)
Please note the special ticket prices if you book your seats
before September 1, and our two Friday evenings offer special
discounts to groups and students of high school age and under.
This year, we're making it easy for you to book a whole
table of eight (or multiple tables of 8!) with a deposit of $100
(the balance is payable within two weeks). If your group includes
guests who will be contacting us and paying separately,
please make sure they use one group name.
Act now! Our four evenings are limited to 225 guests each
night. Visa and Mastercard are welcome without a service
charge. Telephone, fax and e-mail orders are the quickest way
to make your reservations.
The Medieval Feasts at Trinity are produced by Music &
Performing Arts at Trinity Cathedral, Inc., Daniel Hathaway,
artistic director. Proceeds benefit the free Wednesday Noon
Brownbag Concerts.
