The Ohio Arts Council
The Ohio Arts Council, a state agency established in 1965, builds the state through the arts - economically, educationally and culturally - preserving the past, enhancing the present and enriching the future for all Ohioans. The Cleveland Foundation
The Cleveland Foundation, America's first community foundation, was founded in 1914 with a mission: improve the quality of life for all citizens of Greater Cleveland now and for generations to come. Since its inception, The Cleveland Foundation has accumulated more than $1.6 billion in assets and given millions of dollars back to the community in the form of grants. The George Gund Foundation
The George Gund Foundation was established in 1952 as a private, nonprofit institution with the sole purpose of contributing to human well-being and the progress of society. Over the years, program objectives and emphases have been modified to meet the changing opportunities and problems of our society, but the Foundation's basic goal of advancing human welfare remains constant. The Foundation has grantmaking interests in the art, civic affairs, economic development, eduaction, environment and human services. The Kulas Foundation
The Kulas Foundation, a major share of whose annual grants goes toward various aspects of music (such as musical education, institutions, and performances) in the Greater Cleveland Area, was established in December 1937. The Kulas Foundations Web site.


Music Performance Trust Funds
The Recording Industries Music Performance Trust Funds was created in 1948 under agreements between the recording industry and the American Federation of Musicians, to present admission-free, live instrumental performances in connection with patriotic, educational, charitable and civic occasions. United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland, Inc.
Since its inception in 1981, the United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland has financially assisted many non-profit organizations in the Greater Cleveland Area. An important part of UBF's philosophy is to insure that non-profit charitable organizations serving the poor, Black, and minorities receive an equitable share of the charity dollar. United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland, Inc. funds over 35 non-profit agencies anually. These agencies serve thousands of children, families and seniors. In addition to funding, UBF provides Grantsmanship Workshops and Information forums to the public, free of charge. UBF is an affiliate of UBF of America and the United Way Services.
